Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction. Your primary responsibilities will include operating heavy machinery to ensure safe and efficient project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and other machinery used in construction projects.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment, with a strong preference for those with civil experience.
• Proven experience in civil construction projects.
• Valid driver’s license and any relevant heavy equipment operation certifications.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GPS or laser guidance systems.
• Class 3 drivers license is a plus.
